My dreams, the mysterious subconscious, nature, numerous cultures: may it be African, Asiatic or Persian and so on, as well as illuminated manuscripts, etc, all have had a role influencing my aesthetics. Infinitesimal thoughts are honed from almost nothing, then mentally and physically kneaded until the essence starts transforming and transferred to a medium. The creative process can be an exciting unknowing and challenging journey, in which a natural high can take place, which gives one the fortitude to complete a project. Talk about endorphins kicking in. This is helpful in keeping the passion going and working long hours. Part of the joy is not knowing in advance the outcome of a work and being relentless no matter how arduous.

Nefertiti,
Wow! Your blog is absolute joy and pleasure to behold, and to read. I can’t help but marvel at the amount of hardwork already put into it. And by the way, I wonder what it takes to achieve the coveted moniker: Master Printmaker, if you are not already crowned as one.
Congrats! You are an insipiration and a great achiever.

Brought a large piece of your art , “fish of the nile”….just loved it. Had to find you on the web…very original and detailed. Could you tell me more about this wonderful etching (it has A/P in the left corner and signed in the right corner?
Thank you for any information regarding my painting.
